Description
The University of the Virgin Islands is a liberal arts, land-grant institution established by public statute to meet the higher education needs of the people of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean. As an institution, UVI is committed to advancing knowledge through research and public service, particularly in areas that contribute to understanding and resolving issues and problems unique to the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.
Student Life
The Division of Student Life and Development has as its goal the attainment of a campus environment where meaningful human development and student leadership can be fostered through social, cultural, and recreational programs and services outside of the classroom. Educational programs are also designed to supplement classroom instruction.

Only full-time students are eligible to live on campus.
