Curriculum Overview

UNBC prides itself on its personal classroom environment, where students can feel at ease asking questions and offering ideas and opinions. In fact, many classes are based on discussions, not just lectures, so students can gain confidence and develop their understanding of course material.

Many of the University of Northern British Columbia's opportunities are direct outcomes of its small size and personal feel - many of our classes have less than 25 students. It's a spirit more than a statistic, but students at UNBC have an unusual opportunity to make a difference and get engaged in activities that interest them.
