Tyndale University College & Seminary is an evangelical,
transdenominational institution of Christian higher education located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. More than 1,200 students from across Canada, the US and around the world come to Tyndale each year. Students gain international experience as they interact with others from a wide range of demographic, ethnic and denominational backgrounds.

Founded in 1894, Tyndale has a rich Christian heritage dating back to its beginnings as a post-secondary theological college. Today, as a university college, Tyndale gives students an opportunity to complete their university degree in a Christian environment. Tyndale Seminary, founded in 1976, is the largest seminary in Canada preparing leaders to serve in churches, missions agencies and the marketplace in Canada and worldwide. Curriculum Overview
Tyndale University College offers two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Religious Education.
Our BA degree includes majors in:
- Business Administration
- English
- History
- Psychology
- Philosophy
- Religious Studies
- Human Services (with two streams: Social Service Work and Early Childhood Education. This is a conjoint program with a local college, Seneca College, and allows students to graduate with a degree and a diploma in their chosen stream).
Honours programs are also available in several majors. These programs will prepare you for the marketplace or for higher education.
We are especially pleased to offer an honours Business Administration program, International Development. You will intern with a leading NGO both in Canada and around the world.
Our psychology program, led by the world-renowned Dr. Paul Wong, is rapdily developing into one of the finest programs of its kind in the country. We are also one of very few, if any, schools with a research and an applied track.

Student Life
Students at Tyndale are a part of a community of friends and believers that live, study and have fun together. Interested in sports? We have a number of varsity teams eager to have you join them. Want to develop your artistic abilities? Consider joining our worship or drama teams. Want to make a difference to the people around you? Join one of our community outreach teams.
We also have a dynamic orientation, various events throughout the year, overseas study and missions opportunities, chapel, small groups and more! Make your college education more than books and classes - learn in everything you do.

Financial Aid
Experience academic excellence at a fraction of the cost! US students pay the same tuition as Canadian students. While the cost to attend US Christian universities range from $20,000 to $28,000 (USD) a year, tuition and related fees to attend Canadian schools are considerably less. With favorable exchange rates, American students pay less than half and receive the same high-quality education!
As of July 17, 2006, costs for tuition and room and board for University College students was $13,150 (all figures USD). For Seminary students it was $12,270.
American students are eligible to apply for US Stafford
Loans as Tyndale is a recognized institution with the United States Department of Education. Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov for an application and conditions. Please contact the Tyndale Financial Aid Office for complete information on the US Stafford Loan application process. All full-time US students are eligible for Tyndale Scholarships and Bursaries.
Housing
Tyndale provides on-campus housing for up to 200 students, and all full-time, single students who are under the age of 20 are required to live on campus during their first and second years unless they live with a parent or legal guardian. A cafeteria, laundry services and student lounge are all available for you.
Wondering about living off-campus? We live in a safe and friendly neighborhood with many homes with rooms and apartments available to rent. We are also close to public transit, so students can live far away and still be able to come to classes quickly and easily.
