Description
Founded in 1988 by members of St. Andrew's Scots School, an educational institution established in Buenos Aires in 1838 by the Presbyterian Church of the River Plate. San Andr?s is a 4-year private coed University, which offers the underdegree of "Licenciatura". The Education Ministry granted, in 1990, official recognition by law 17.604, which regulates private universities in Argentina. Since 1995 several graduate programs are being offered in Economics, Management, History and Education.

Student Life
The University offers a wide spectrum of activities: an art studio, a variety of intramural sports (including soccer, tennis, squash, paddle, volleyball, swimming, rugby). Students can participate in the Student Center Organization, the Student Magazine and the Volunteer Community Service; they are also encouraged to participate in summer internships in companies and other institutions.
