Description
Otago Polytechnic is an internationally recognized, government funded educational institution which offers postgraduate and undergraduate degrees, diplomas and certificates as well as pathway programmes. These qualifications are taught through a mix of practical and theoretical skills with many programmes including a work experience component.
Student Life
Dunedin is the student capital city of New Zealand. Approximately 25000 students arrive in Dunedin each year to study at one of the three tertiary institutions in the city. There is a lively and visible student lifestyle from orientations, concerts, student discounts in stores, a range of clubs to join and participate in and central housing close to the institutions. Dunedin is famous for its famous rugby ground, chocolate factory and protected wildlife such as albatrosses and fur seals.
