Creative Cinema Arts Program:
Our unique one and two year programs in Creative Cinema Arts is an organic approach to cinema arts which focuses on helping students uncover the story teller inside them and translate their vision into cinematic art.
Our program is designed to nurture, support, and prepare independent film makers for the emerging technologies in the rapidly expanding field of Cinema, tele-journalism, and interactive entertainment. The focus is for our graduates to become the artistic pioneers of the future.
The first year is dedicated to helping our students access their highest creative capacity by exposing them to the rich history and Art of the Italian culture and the Renaissance. Students will examine how stories have been told throughout the ages in painting, frescos, and sculptures. They will utilize a broad array of mediums such as creative writing, painting, sculpting, photographic imagery, and theatre arts to help them uncover their own personal style and means of artistic expression.
Then they will embark upon an inner journey of self discovery to uncover the story teller within and release any blocks that may be inhibiting their creative expression. They will draw on the richness of Italian Cinema, Art, opera and Literature to serve as a springboard for their own creative projects.
The second year Students begin to focus on their vision for humanity and fine tune their independent projects. Students will have extensive hands on experience and the opportunity to shoot in the beautiful environs of Italy then, edit their work in our state of the arts editing suites. Students will choose their own personal mentor who will oversee their individual creative projects. Collaboration with other students will give everyone an opportunity to be exposed to the multiple aspects of production.

Creative Visual Arts Program
This program focuses on providing inspiration, creative freedom while grounding students in the tools and skills required to realize their artistic potential. Students will draw inspiration from the wealth of Art in Florence. They will study the art of the Italian masters by visiting museums, gardens and architectural sites then be encouraged to extract the highest essence of the Italian Masters as a spring board to help them access their highest creative capacity into a fresh new direction.
Students will choose from a broad range of classes in drawing, painting, sculpting, jewellery making, and graphic design to provide a rich and diverse base from which they can develop their own unique style and Artistic rhythm.
The second year each student will focus on their preferred mediums and choose their personal mentor with whom they will apprentice and develop their final project. Multimedia projects are encouraged as well as collaboration with students using other mediums. Students’ final work will be exhibited here in Florence. A great deal of time is devoted to translating their creative work into evolving mediums and promoting our students and their artistic works.
Creative Theatre Arts Program:
This program is designed to create individuals who graduate with skills in writing, directing and acting. These skills can be translated into the new emerging fields to add to the versatility and marketability of our graduate students. This is a terminal degree with the focus of creating well rounded artists who can adapt their talents to many of the new professional opportunities that are emerging.
The first year students will have a broad range of classes to choose form including writing, directing, art classes, dance and music. They will draw on the rich culture of Italian Literature, opera, theatre and Music. Through the use of Yoga, creative movement and personal growth exercises they will work internally to evolve themselves and fully utilize their bodies as physical vehicles of creative expression. Much of the emphasis is focused on helping students to access innovative and fresh interpretations of characters and/or create their own unique literary works that they will perform.
The Second Year Students will begin to focus on their own projects and choose their mentor. Students will be required to collaborate together in productions and be encouraged to work with the fellow students in the areas of cinema and creative writing.
Creative Writing Program:
Our program is designed to instruct and inspire students in the creative process of story telling. The program is two fold. The first part is focused on releasing the story teller within and removing blocks, fears and inhibitions that stop the free flow of the creative spirit. This is an internal journey to help each student access their highest creative capacity and think in new categories creating profoundly rich, original and fresh literary works. Students will choose from a wide range of mediums including, painting, graphic design, theatre arts, sculpture as well as drawing on the rich cultural heritage of Italy and the Renaissance.
In the second year students will begin focusing on their independent projects under the supervision of their chosen mentor. Together they will decide upon a final project and create their own unique program of study including a bibliography, educational activities and events based on their final project.
Students will receive the tools, inspiration and supervision to bring their creative project to fruition along with support in marketing and selling their work.

Extended Studies:
Our ten day intensive workshop and our six week certificate program are designed for those who have limited time and would like to experience Florence’s art and culture as a means of initiating their own inner creative journey or as a for runner to enrolling in our longer programs.
