Description

International University of Japan (IUJ) is a graduate school and was founded in 1982 with missions to develop future leaders with a high level of specialized theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as understanding and empathy toward the world's variety of cultures, enhancing their ability to contribute to the global society.

On our campus, we have built a unique and global intellectual community, unsurpassed in the world. About 300 students from 50+ countries live in the dormitories, study and research together with our faculty. Within the past 24 years, IUJ has produced about 2,200 alumni from about 100 countries.

Curriculum Overview

IUJ offers 5 Master's programs: MBA, E-business Mangement, International Relations, International Development, and International Peace Studies.

The IUJ MBA offers multidisciplinary curricula encompassing all the important core courses including Finance, Marketing, Product Development, Management, IT, and Human Resources Management.

The e-Business Management Program is a one-year Master's course that trains managers to add value through technology.

The International Relations Program is intended to educate effective global leaders in various fields of today's global society, with deep and and multi-disciplinary understanding of politics, economy, and primary societal trends as well as cultrual and historical backgrounds.

Toward a peaceful and environmentally-firendly, poverty-free international community, the International Development Program prepares professionals tackling development issues equipped with solid expertise, practical skills, and scientific theories.

The International Peace Studies Program takes on global issues such as armed conflicts and peace building, poverty reduction and development, destruction of the environment and sustaibable development, gender discrimination, and all other issues related to "human security."

Special Services

The IUJ Career Counselor provides US-style career coaching, first in group workshops to develop job hunting skills and tools, and then with each individual to develop a 1 or 2 year plan to reach the student's short-term and long-term career goals. Students find the support very helpful, sometimes enlightening, and often very rewarding.

Housing

IUJ offers 3 single student dormitories and 1 married student apartment on campus, just steps away from the cafeteria and gymnasium, and classrooms. Each single dorm has a bed, desk, private bath and telephone. Most have a nice view of our mountains.
