GBT 's Medical College was founded in 1992 and in two short years achieved national and international recognition. Our Medical College graduates are working in different parts of the world including the United States and European Union. We have recently enhanced our curriculum and modified our training methods to match those of top ranked nursing colleges in the USA. Curriculum Overview
GBT International Medical College nursing program is registered by the Georgian Ministry of education and is fully accredited by the Georgian Government. Upon completion of the GBT nursing course, the student will be awarded the associated degree in science "General Nurse Diploma" (A.S) and will be eligible to take the National Council Examination (NCLEX) required for licensing as a Registered Nurse in the United State of America. The student will know about the common health problems and the method of treatment, as well as the accepted ethical and legal standards of Nursing in the U.S and European Union Countries. You will be prepared to fill general staff nursing positions in the hospital, nursing homes, clinics, and other community based health care settings through out the U.S and European Union Countries. You will be qualified to perform technical nursing duties and manage the care of a group of patients.
As a Nursing Associate Degree graduate of GBT, you may also continue your studies in the United State toward a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in nursing or other similar field as. You may do this through GBT affiliated universities or any accredited university in the United States with no further preparations or delay.
Student Life
The academic program at GBT Medical College is designed and developed as a student oriented program, with modern curriculums similar to US standards, with high quality library and computer equipment. Should they fall behind for any reason, students will receive individual attention of faculty for supervised study groups, as well as individualized assistance.
