The Residences Office Team aim to provide you with a choice of accommodation, allowing you to prioritise the type of residence which reflects your preferred lifestyle and budget. The aim of this Residences Guide is to give you the information you need to make that choice. There are a number of factors which you should think about before prioritising your accommodation, including:
? whether it is catered or self-catered
? the availability of en-suite shower/toilet facilities
? the accommodation fee
? the location of the accommodation in relation to your academic buildings, the city centre, or the particular social or sports facilities in which you are interested
? access to communal facilities, such as a Social Centre or Bar
? the availability of accommodation during the summer vacation, particularly for overseas students (all of the accommodation allows you to stay during Christmas and Easter vacations).
