AustraLearn is the North American representative for 29 major universities in Australia and New Zealand. In Newcastle, the University of Newcastle offers students excellent degree options in almost any field of study.
AustraLearn assists students with finding the right university and program, provides applications and prospectuses for the universities, and provides a wide range of services to make sure students actually get there. Curriculum Overview
The University provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs through the five Faculties of Business & Law, Education & Arts, Engineering & Built Environment, Health, and Science & Information Technology. Our teacher education program is the largest in Australia and our medicine, engineering, law, science, architecture and building programs are highly regarded by their respective professions. This is reflected in the outstanding employment rates for our graduates.
Student Life
Newcastle offers you a coastal landscape, surf beaches, working harbor, historic sites, the arts and a vibrant nightlife. The Civic Cultural Precinct is where you'll find the Newcastle Regional Museum, Art Gallery, Civic Theatre, Civic Playhouse and the University's Music and Business schools. The Newcastle East conservation zone covers an entire inner city neighborhood preserving some of the best of the city's architectural heritage.
Newcastle enjoys a pleasant climate year round - similar to the central Californian coast. Summer is warm to hot (68F - 83F) and winter is mild (49F - 64F).

Financial Aid
The University of Newcastle is Title IV certified and thus can accept federal aid from the U.S. Government. You can utilize Stafford Loans, Parent PLUS Loans, and private education loans for your degree abroad.
Housing
