Description
The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is an independent, international, highly selective, residential university. The language of instruction is English.

Student Life
A lively spirit of discovery and adventure extends beyond the classroom at AUBg, with opportunity for students to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities. The variety of activities, clubs and organizations is different from year to year, fitting the talents and interests of the student body.
Special Services
AUBG hosts concerts, guest lectures, art shows, and other special events, which are open to the public. In the Spring of 1993 AUBG hosted its first annual international arts festival; and in the Spring of 1996 the first international philosophy conference. AUBG also hosts annual college and job fairs.
Financial Aid
Because AUBG is committed to assisting highly qualified students, we offer financial aid in the term of merit tuition grants, scholarships, and work-study. Bank loans of up to 3,000 euro are also available to all AUBG undergraduate students.
Housing
AUBG offers student housing in the purpose-built Skaptopara Residence Hall Complex. All the University''s residence halls have computer labs, laundry services, television, gyms.
